Dr Monica Collins graduated from the University of Manchester, England in 2012 and, after two years working in London moved to Australia in 2014 where she fell in love with the Central Coast of NSW.
As a general dentist Dr Collins has a love for all aspects of dentistry and thoroughly enjoys treating families with young children through to adulthood. She is proud to provide minimally invasive cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening, veneers, composite bonding and Invisalign treatment to full mouth rehabilitations. Being a provider of smile makeovers has been a tremendously rewarding part of Dr Collins’ profession. It has allowed her to build great rapport with her patients and witness life changing moments, for which she is ever grateful.
Dr Collins is committed to dental education and the ever-evolving world of digital Dentistry. She has completed numerous courses in both Australia and the USA in the fields of dental implantology and aesthetic dentistry. Another area of interest to her is that of Forensic Odontology which was only enhanced in 2019 when she undertook the ADA NSW Forensic Odontology course. On completion of this course Dr Collins has offered to volunteer for the NSW Forensic team following a catastrophic disaster, should she be called upon. Giving back to the community via the knowledge she has gained during her career is meaningful to Dr Collins.
Providing a high standard of care for her patients is of paramount importance to Dr Collins and it is her belief, that, in order to achieve a bespoke treatment plan tailored to her patient’s needs and expectations it must be centred around patient involvement, ‘a beautiful smile is created by firstly listening to my patient’s physical and psychological concerns related to their dental health’.
